Internships & Enrichment Opportunities

AMS currently has  4 partnerships: Here are a few of our students who have worked with First Workings & Genesys Works in the past.

First Workings

Founded in 2014, First Workings is an organization that helps 11th grade students gain social capital and workplace readiness skills that will help them discover career pathways. First Workings partners with a wide variety of industries that provide students with specialized training, paid internships, and one-on-one mentorships.

Genesys Works

Genesys Works provides pathways to career success to rising seniors through skills training, impactful relationships, and paid internships. Internship sites include: Kirkland & Ellis LLP, J.P. Morgan, AIG, Accenture, Hospital for Special Surgeries, and many more!

Riverdale Neighborhood House

Riverdale Neighborhood House responds to the evolving, unique needs of the greater community by providing paid internships to students in grades 9 - 12. The RNH internship program follows an asset-based, comprehensive youth development model where students can intern in career fields such as education, healthcare, senior services, media, entrepreneurship, and environmental preservation.

New York Presbyterian Hospital

New York Presbyterian’s NYPeers Program is a one-year paid internship for students ages 15 - 21 that provides them with the skills to become peer educators and health ambassadors throughout the entire school campus and neighboring communities. This is a great opportunity for thoughtful and responsible students interested in learning more about teen health, developing leadership and public speaking skills, and contributing to health education and outreach activities such as workshops and social media campaigns.
